Evolution of Mobility

In response to the new challenges from various dynamics of customer and future city, Hyundai Motor Group is transforming into a Smart Mobility Solution Provider as it continues to implement our vision “Progress for Humanity". Hyundai Motor Group is building a brand-new mobility ecosystem to create dynamic cities of the future. Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center in Singapore(HMGICS), the group’s first global open innovation hub, will strive for new human-centered intelligent manufacturing innovation for a mobility paradigm shift through advanced mobility solutions as well as the value chain innovation.

Building an Eco-Firendly Hydrogen Society

At the center of these new mobility solutions is Hyundai Motor Group’s firm belief in the importance of the environment. In 2021, the Hyundai Motor Group launched the “Hydrogen Wave” initiative to help ensure that hydrogen could be made accessible to everyone, everywhere and for every function by 2040. With the goal of contributing to the transition to a hydrogen society and as part of this initiative, Hyundai Rotem is developing hydrogen mobility solutions (e.g. Hydrogen Fuel Cell Tram) and hydrogen production infrastructure, creating synergies with partners within the Hyundai Motor Group and beyond.

Autonomous driving technologies, which can transform a vehicle from a space for moving to a space for using, reconfigure space and make our time more meaningful. Hyundai Motor Group plans to develop and commercialize autonomous vehicles. Motional is at the forefront in providing valuable experiences, benefiting individuals and society.
